How to watermark a PDF
- Drop your PDF into the box above.
- Pick Text (type your wording, for example DRAFT or CONFIDENTIAL) or Image (a logo PNG works great).
- Choose the layout: a repeating pattern, one centered mark, or a corner stamp. Set the angle, opacity and size.
- Click Add watermark and download the result.
Good to know
- Light opacity (10–20%) marks ownership while keeping the document fully readable.
- The diagonal repeating pattern is the classic "confidential document" look and is hard to crop out.
- Watermarks are drawn over the content — the original text underneath is untouched.
Frequently asked questions
Can I watermark only some pages?
Yes — enter page numbers or ranges such as 2,5,8-10 in the Pages field. Leave it empty to mark every page.
Will the watermark show when printed?
Yes. The watermark is part of the page content, so it prints exactly like anything else on the page.
Can I use my company logo?
Switch to Image mode and upload a PNG or JPG. Transparent PNGs blend best with the page.
