The short version
We never receive your files. Every tool on this site runs entirely inside your browser. There is no upload endpoint, no server-side processing, and no database. Your documents, images and text stay on your device from the moment you drop them in until the moment you save the result.
What we do not collect
- Your files — they are read by your browser and processed locally. They are never transmitted to us or anyone else.
- Analytics — we run no Google Analytics, no analytics scripts, no advertising pixels and no third-party trackers of any kind.
- Accounts — there is no login, no email collection, no newsletter.
- Cookies — this site sets no cookies.
The one thing stored locally
When you dismiss the cookie notice banner, your browser stores a small flag in localStorage (key pdfsite-cookie-notice) so the banner does not reappear. This value never leaves your device and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.
The site also registers a service worker so the tools keep working offline. The service worker only caches this site's own static files (HTML, CSS, JavaScript libraries). It does not cache, log or transmit your documents.
Hosting
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages as static files. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard server logs (such as IP address and requested URL) as part of delivering the pages; we do not have access to any file you process here, because no file is ever sent to a server. Cloudflare acts as a data processor for visitors from the European Economic Area; see Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
Third-party services
None. All code — including the PDF libraries (pdf-lib, pdf.js, JSZip) — is served from this domain. A strict Content-Security-Policy header is sent with every page, which instructs your browser to refuse any script, style, font or connection that does not originate from this domain. If our hosting provider were to inject any analytics or tracking script into the HTML, your browser would block it from running — you can verify this in your browser's network panel: using a tool triggers zero requests to other domains.
Children's privacy
The site collects no personal information from anyone, including children. There are no accounts and no data collection of any kind.
Your rights (GDPR)
Because we hold no personal data, there is nothing for us to access, export, correct or delete. If you believe otherwise, contact us and we will investigate immediately.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new "last updated" date. Given the site's local-only design, material changes are unlikely.
