Privacy-first PDF tools

Every PDF tool you need — without ever uploading your files.

Merge, split, compress, rotate, convert and organize PDFs right here in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server: your documents never leave your device. No accounts, no watermarks, no daily limits.

How it works

  1. Drop your file in. It is read directly by your browser — nothing is transmitted anywhere.
  2. Pick your options. Every tool runs locally on your device using open-source PDF libraries.
  3. Download the result. The finished file is generated in your browser and saved to your disk.

Why run PDF tools in the browser?

Most online PDF services upload your document to a server, process it there, and ask you to trust that it was deleted afterwards. For contracts, invoices, medical records or anything else sensitive, that trust is the weak link.

This site takes the opposite approach: all processing happens locally, using the same open-source libraries (pdf-lib and pdf.js) that power many server-side tools. The practical consequences:

Zero tracking. We run no analytics, no advertising pixels and no third-party scripts. The only thing this site stores is a local note that you dismissed the cookie banner.

Frequently asked questions

Are my files really never uploaded?

Correct. Every tool on this site executes inside your browser tab. There is no upload endpoint — the pages have no code that could send your file anywhere. You can verify this yourself: open your browser's network panel while using a tool, or simply disconnect from the internet and keep working.

Is there a file size or usage limit?

No artificial limits. The practical ceiling is your device's memory — very large files (hundreds of megabytes) can be slow or may fail on phones. Desktop browsers comfortably handle files well beyond what most free tiers of upload-based services allow.

Which tools are planned next?

Password protection and unlocking, OCR for scanned pages, PDF-to-PNG and a document comparison tool are on the roadmap. Conversion to Word, Excel or PowerPoint is deliberately not offered: doing it properly requires a server-side engine, and a low-quality local imitation would only waste your time.
